If you have tested positive for COVID 19, you will be required to have a negative test no less than 14 days after your positive test to receive services at Citrine.
Many of our procedures and protocols have changed as we implemented new policies outlined by the State of Florida, CDC, and massage organizations.
Keep in mind that reopening does not mean that COVID-19 has gone away, or that resuming normal activities is 100% safe. There is no way to completely social distance while providing our spa services.
We are a "MASK PERMITTED" business. This means that we are going on the honor system with our clients and patrons. We ask that if you are not vaccinated that you continue to wear a mask while with us. Our therapists and employees who are vaccinated (and have provided proof) will be wearing masks if they choose to while at Citrine. ALL THERAPISTS WILL WEAR MASKS DURING TREATMENTS.
Come on in like it's 2019!! EXCEPT-- We will conduct a Check-In Screening Questionnaire/Protocol, take your temperature, and sanitize your hands before your service.
Before and after each service, our Citrine staff will wipe and disinfect all surfaces touched by therapists and clients, including door handles, bathrooms, front door, sink handles, toilet handles, water dispenser. This is in addition to regular cleaning of all the surfaces in the treatment rooms. We have added air purifiers and filters to help with ventilation in treatment rooms, and replaced all fabric furniture with non-porous furniture.
We must continue to take extra precautions with COVID-19. You must reschedule your spa service if you:
*Have any sickness symptoms within the last 14 days
*Been in contact with any sick person within the last 14 days
*Traveled in the last 14 days and are UNVACCINATED
Cancellation Policy Change: If you schedule an appointment and become ill or exposed, you can cancel anytime without consequence.
Testing Our Staff for COVID-19: Our unvaccinated employees continue to get tested on a regular basis (as often as weekly). We encourage everyone in our community to get tested. It is free, easy, and located at Bragg Stadium on FAMU's campus.
Risks Related to COVID-19 and Massage Therapy: There are inherent risks of giving and receiving massage therapy during this pandemic, and we now better understand more of the risks. We think it is important to include that there is mounting evidence that shows blood clotting as a symptom of COVID-19 and can present even when no other symptoms have. This is particularly relevant as it relates to massage therapy. Patients with COVID-19 are presenting with Deep Vein Thrombosis who otherwise would not. The risk of stroke and pulmonary embolism is much higher. Even if you have no symptoms at all you can still be presenting with blood clots which massage therapy could possibly dislodge, resulting in health complications or death. We want you to be informed and know what the potential risks are so you can proceed with caution.
We are truly excited to begin taking care of you all again and to bring you the same love and relaxation that we have in the past. We are sure that it is as therapeutic for us as it is for you.
We look forward to taking care of you again
